The Royal Household has published the annual financial report for spending in the 2018/19 financial year. It includes the amount spent on royal travel.
During the tour, Prince Harry and Meghan were in Dubbo for only a day. As well as attending a public event in Victoria Park, they visited a local farmer to speak about the drought and dropped in to Dubbo College.
In the 12 months, there were more than 3000 official engagements undertaken by the Royal Family.
"The year under review has been another busy period for the Royal Household with the Queen undertaking 140 official engagements in the United Kingdom. In addition, the program of other members of the Royal Family who support the Queen helped the Royal Family deliver over 3,200 official engagements across the UK and overseas," Keeper of the Privy Purse Michael Stevens said.
In total, the Royal Family spent £2.7 million ($4.9 million) on their travel.
There were another 160,000 guests welcomed at Royal Palaces for events.
In total, the Sovereign Grant for 2018/19 - that is money from the government provided to support the royals in their duties - was £82.2 million ($147.3 million).
