There was no doubt in anybody's mind that Mudgee were hungry for the win but unfortunately for the home side, the victory didn't eventuate.
Mudgee's Rita Palm clocked the first five on the board, her first of two, followed by Lala Lautaimi placing down her own, exciting the home ground crowd.
However, the Bathurst side kicked into gear with a combination of tries from a collection of players, including winger Jacinta Cooper's hat trick, sealing the sides 42-22 win.
Mudgee will take on Orange City women at home with kick off at 12:45pm at Jubilee Oval.
