A local performer herself, Sarah said that she wanted to give locals an audience.
"I wanted to do something where people have the opportunity to showcase their talents and play in front of a crowd. Because not everyone can busk on a corner for hours," she said.
The Mudgee High student had Max Potential recommended to her by previous participants and said she joined because she "wanted to get better at not being a procrastinator and learning how to plan better".
She also endorses the program, "I would say give it a go, it's a great opportunity, you learn a lot from it and we have fun".
Sarah's coach, Alison Whittaker, said, "I can see the achievements she's been making through the program, in her activities in school and outside".
- The Sunday Lunch Buskers in the Park is 1-3pm, July 28, at Lawson Park. Sausage sizzle and coffee available. Musicians and singers can call Sarah on 0427 330 049 or register on the day before 12.30pm.
