The Makita lights, stands, and battery chargers, were bought with a grant courtesy of KEPCO Bylong Australia.
Being primary responders for road crashes, as well as providing search and rescue services, the Squad's new equipment will be invaluable when they're called out at night.
Furthermore, their cordless function - thanks to their long battery life - removes a trip hazard at an emergency scene.
"KEPCO Bylong Australia is proud of its ongoing relationship with the Mudgee Rescue Squad," Bill Vatovec, KEPCO chief operating officer, said.
"We are delighted to support this worthwhile initiative and all the good work the squad does in the community."
- The Mudgee Rescue Squad will be at the Mudgee Small Field Days (July 12-13), at stand 501. Rescue demonstrations will be at 10am, 12pm and 2pm.
