A man will face court today after allegedly committing numerous offences in the state's Central West this week.

About 3pm Wednesday, 17 July, it is alleged the 19-year-old breached an enforceable ADVO when sending a series of abusive text messages to a woman known to him.
The man was observed by police attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District in Gulgong sometime after 7pm. When approached, it is alleged he ran from police, stealing a Landcruiser.
About 12.10am yesterday, Thursday 18 July, police engaged in a pursuit with the man travelling on the Golden Highway east of Dubbo. The pursuit was terminated due to safety concerns.
It is alleged the man broke into a Fitzroy Street home in Dubbo about 2.30am, where he attempted to steal a Hyundai Accent.
The man was confronted by a female occupant and a struggle ensued.
It is alleged he produced a knife and threatened the victim, before attempting to stab a man who confronted him.

The man fled the scene in the Hyundai.
About 3.27am, police engaged in a second pursuit with the man which was terminated again due to safety concerns.
It is alleged the man stole a third vehicle a short time later.
Police attended a Godwins Lane address at Dubbo about 2.10pm following reports the man was at the location.
The man fled police, and allegedly stole a fourth vehicle from Mogriguy Road, which was also involved in a terminated pursuit later that afternoon.
About 7pm yesterday, multiple police attended a Fitzroy Street address at Dubbo where the man was believed to be hiding-out.

He was charged with a string of offences including assault occasioning actual bodily harm, aggravated break and enter, larcency, possessing a prohibited drug and driving without a licence.
The man did not enter pleas or apply for bail when he appeared before Magistrate Gary Wilson in Dubbo Local Court on Friday.
He is now behind bars and his case returns to court on August 14.
