Blazing her own path, Sara Perry of The Property Shop has been awarded for her ongoing effort and dedication to the real estate sector.
Last month, Perry was awarded with the Real Estate Business Women in Real Estate Awards 'Sales Agent of the Year - Regional'.
This is the first year of the awards that are dedicated to women in real estate, and Sara said it's 'pretty awesome' to be the regional recipient.
"It's absolutely awesome, it's an amazing acknowledgement of all the hard work we put in as sales agents," she said.

"The award reinforces how much passion I have for my job and that it's something I'm going to keep doing forever."
After some encouragement from others, Sara put her name forward to a panel of judges who assessed her sales figures from the previous year to this financial year, and asked four questions about herself and her time in the business.
Up against 11 others, Perry was not expecting her name to be called out and said in that moment, her emotions were 'pretty strong'.
I was not expecting it at all, I didn't prepare a speech or anything," Perry laughed.
"It was lovely to have Andrew and Genevieve Palmer there to support me and also my husband Aaron, it was nice to celebrate with them."
Sara has been in the real estate business for just over 13 years, kick-starting her career in Muswellbrook before making the move to Mudgee three years ago.
The move meant Perry had to undergo a shift from making predominantly residential sales to the inclusion of rural properties.
"That's been a big challenge [learning about Mudgee and it's areas], moving to a new area is like starting a career from scratch," she said.
The Property Shop have been very welcoming and supportive, and so has the Mudgee community.
Sara now has her sights set on adding the REB Regional Sales Agent of the Year Award to her collection, which she is a finalist in alongside fellow Property Shop agent, Alyse Pilley.
