Building on the momentum of the great feedback from this year's Show, the committee are motivated to deliver another action-packed Show for the community. The community's support has been overwhelming with generous donations from Reliance Bank in Mudgee and gold sponsorship commitment from Eastend Bus Services for the Rodeo. With advertising packages still available for general and rodeo sponsorship, the committee would like to invite members of the community, especially the business community, to show their support of our Show.
Publicity Officer Louise Butlin said, "We are humbled by the recent generous donations from Reliance Bank and Eastend Bus Services. We hope other local businesses and community groups jump on board to help us. Not only do we need financial assistance but knowledge. If there are anyone in our community who have been involved with a rodeo and would like to assist, please make contact. We currently need help sourcing information, contacts and judges. We are also upgrading our sheep yards prior to the next Show. Any donations or voluntary man hours in constructing the sheep yards would be much appreciated." She said.
With the Show book soon to go to print, the committee encourage those interested in sponsoring to jump on board now to ensure inclusion in the Show book, so they receive maximum benefit from their sponsorship. Sponsorship can be as little as $10 as every contribution is valued and assists. Just like becoming a member helps ensure the funds are raised to host a great Show!

Vote for Gulgong Scout hall project
We have a very valuable asset in Gulgong, the old Scout Hall behind Red Hill Environment and Education Centre. The hall has been underutilized in the past years due to the need of renovation. Funding is being sourced at the moment for the renovation headed by Rebecca Nielsen, Principal of the Red Hill EEC School.
If successful, the grant funding will enable the refurbishment of a highly valuable educational space, both for our visiting schools and especially for our local students and community.
Please vote for the success of this project by visiting the mycommunityproject.service.nsw.gov.au website for details on how to vote. Any queries, please do not hesitate to contact the team at Red Hill EEC on 6374 2558.
Aged care employees day
Wenonah Lodge this week celebrated Aged Care Employees Day. This is the official day to thank, honour, recognise and celebrate the hundreds of thousands of people who work in the aged care industry across Australia.
CEO of Wenonah Jennifer Crust said "The event went beautifully. Col Bailey Vice Chairman gave a heartfelt speech of the importance of Wenonah in Gulgong and what a wonderful job all our staff do. All the staff were called up and shook hands with Col who presented each of them with a Certificate of Appreciation for Aged Care Employees Day." She said.
