Flavours of Mudgee, one of the region's biggest yearly event is offering something special for the region's locals who have supported the event since its inception eight years ago.
Council is offering a discounted 'early bird offer' for locals on tasting packages for a limited time only.
From Monday 19 August, locals can purchase a tasting package, including five tasting tokens and souvenir glass, for $10 from the Mudgee Visitor Information Centre on Market Street.

This special is available for two weeks only until Monday 2 September when the pre-sale tasting package price increases to $12.50, and $15 at the event.
Mayor Des Kennedy said Flavours of Mudgee 2019 is set to be bigger and better with a record number of stallholders confirmed.
"Last year tasting packages sold out in record time on the night, with our largest ever crowd - 11,000 people - attending the event," Cr Kennedy said.

Flavours of Mudgee received the RH Dougherty Award for Innovation in Special Events (Division A - population less than 30,000) at last year's Local Government NSW (LGNSW) awards.
Flavours of Mudgee is a feature event held as part of the Mudgee Wine and Food Festival which is the 7th - 29th of September.
Held on the fourth Saturday of September each year, Flavours of Mudgee 2019 will be held on Saturday 28 September.
