The Mudgee Small Schools Network (MSSN) science day saw eight schools come together in Lue for a series of educational sessions. Over 120 students and 25 staff descended on the small school from Hargraves, Hill End, Cassilis, Goolma, Ilford, Ulan and Glen Alice. Everything had a space or moon theme and the sessions were run by Kelly Vurtis (teacher from Glen Alice PS), Geoff Childs (DET STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) expert, four Mudgee High School students, and Will Lindsay (Ilford Public School principal). "Next term we have an art day planned at Glen Alice Public School. It was great to see all students engaged and working together - learning whilst having fun."
