The school tradition is that graduating students give back to the community, with the chosen beneficiaries for 2019 being the Rural Fire Service.
And this year's cohort have already been working hard on fundraising; they ran the election day barbecue at the school; helped with the running of Mudgee Triathlon Club races; worked in the canteen and checked tickets at the November A-League match; done Bunnings sausage sizzles; as well as fundraising activities in-school, including at the sporting and swimming carnivals.

Rainbow Day itself has been moved to the Tuesday (September 24) of Year 12's final week of school, which has been reshuffled with the annual Staff V Students soccer match shifted to the Wednesday, their final assembly on the Thursday, and the Farewell Dinner on the Friday evening.
So local motorists will be asked to dig deep earlier in the week, when they reach the three Donation Stations.
