JASON Hanrahan has been announced as St Stanislaus' College's new head of college in Bathurst, from the start of 2020.

Mr Hanrahan has had a career of more than 20 years in Catholic education and is currently principal at St Matthew's in Mudgee.
He has also worked in an independent college and in a boarding setting.
Vincentian Fathers and Brothers provincial Fr Gregory Brett wrote to parents on Monday to confirm Mr Hanrahan had been appointed to replace Dr Anne Wenham.

In his letter to parents, Fr Gregory said Mr Hanrahan had a "well-developed ability to lead within a Catholic education context, particularly in the area of learning and teaching".
"With a strong personal commitment to his Catholic faith, Jason is an active member of his parish," Fr Gregory said.
"Our position attracted many experienced educational leaders."
Dr Wenham announced in May that she would be retiring at the end of the year after seven years at St Stanislaus'.
Mr Hanrahan will officially take over in his new role in January.
