Gary William Graham was sentenced to a 12-month Community Corrections Order in Mudgee Local Court.
On Friday, June 14, 2019, police were conducting a required check-up, during which they inspected his mobile phone.
They discovered two Facebook accounts and associated Messenger account that they hadn't previously been cataloged.
Graham - who's required to report any IT details as part of the register - told them he didn't know this was needed.
His solicitor, Allan Hogan, told the court that this was an "oversight" by his client and that the second account was started by a friend years after the first.
Magistrate David Day said, "he's not going to jail this time, he will next time". And told the defendant that the laws are in place to protect the community.
