Mudgee's Flynn and Mia Baggett have been accepted into the National Pony Club team to represent NSW in tetrathlon and eventing.
The National competition is held every two years, with only six spots per discipline offered.
While the siblings admit they were shocked to discover they had made the team, they say a lot of training went into getting to where they are.
"I am pretty excited as I have worked really hard to achieve this with lots of lessons and competitions. It's the highest level I will have ridden at," Flynn Baggett said.
It was just so good to see my name on the list, finally.

"I was a little bit shocked, I wasn't expecting it because my horse had been injured and we didn't have as many performances as I would have liked, but because he did so well at state he got a spot on the team," Mia Baggett said.
Following a collection of consistent performances over the last 12 months and their second placings at the State Pony Club Championships, the Baggetts believe it's what helped their climb to the team.
The six day event will see the pair compete individually and in team NSW against other riders from across Australia.
"I am competing in tetrathlon which is running, swimming, shooting and showjumping, and also in eventing which is dressage showjumping and cross country jumping so I will be very busy," 11-year-old Flynn said.
Both riders have a knack for jumping and admit they aim to improve their grades in eventing.
"I would like to move up the grades gradually especially in eventing as I love jumping," Flynn said.
I would like to move up the grades in eventing but I am happy doing lots of training and getting my horse very consistent in all three disciplines.

The pair will compete at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre from October 7 to 13, where Flynn will ride his 16-year-old 'Kurios George', and Mia will be on nine-year-old 'Simpatico'.
