The last time the sides met, which was in round 18 of the 2019 Group 10 competition, the Dragons narrowly took a 16-12 victory, and club president Sebastian Flack says that performance wasn't their best and will look to do better on Sunday.
"We played poorly that day so we are expecting to improve, but we know it will be a tough, close game as it always is against Lithgow," he said.

While the red and white outfit are feeling blue after last weekend, Flack says considering this week is host to an elimination round, the side are feeling the pressure to get the job done.
"There is more pressure because there is the threat of elimination. If you don't feel it, you aren't being realistic about the situation you are in," Flack said.
We just need to use the pressure to motivate us to perform well.

With no alteration in tactics, the Dragons are focused on execution and discipline which has been a focal point throughout the season.
"It's all about doing what we say now because if we don't we know the consequence," he said.
Flack says while all of the side are expected to 'step up', there are two players in particular that are likely to stand out in this week's semi.
"Nathan Orr played his best game of the year against Lithgow last time and we are expecting him to replicate that performance once again," Flack said.
Of course we are expecting everyone to step up though as we want to get further in the competition.
"'Big Time Ben Thompson' has been playing really well in the back end of the season, and rumour has it that he has 'the oil' out."
The Mudgee Dragons will take on the Lithgow Workies at Glen Willow Stadium on September 1 from 2.45pm.
