That's what Mudgee Wombats under 15s coach, Phil English had to say about his side as they prepare for their grand final clash against Dubbo this weekend.
It was the red and navy's 43-12 victory over Forbes last Saturday at Caltex Oval that booked their ticket.
"The boys just clicked into gear, and I suppose with finals footy, they knew they wanted to take it further for the year and stepped up," English said.
"We came away with a pretty good victory actually."
With players having been out on the odd occasion for representative duties, injuries and availabilities, English says 2019 has mainly been about getting everyone out on the field together.
"This year has probably been more about getting them all together. It's been a bit disrupted with rep season and injuries, so it's good to finally get them all on the field," he said.
While levels of excitement are expected to be on a high, English has kept his squad focused on playing rather than celebrating, just yet.
We've kept them fairly focused, we don't want them to get too ahead of things but they know it's not going to be easy.

Up against a side dominant in size, the batties are likely to capitalize on their defense patterns and utilise their speed on the wings to better their chances.
"Dubbo are going to be a very good side so they're going to have to really rip in and give it a good shot," English said.
Ultimately, Dubbo are very very big and much stronger. It's one of those things where we've got to just basically get it right on the day.
"A lot of our game has been focused on getting our defensive patterns right and both teams will be focusing on that I think."
The Mudgee Wombats will take on Dubbo Blues at Pride Park, Orange on September 7 with a 10.30am kick-off.
"To get to the grand final for these guys is wonderful, they're a good bunch of young boys who are growing up to be great men and I know they'll represent the Wombats well," English said.
