The 40-year-old man charged with the alleged crash that claimed the life of a female cyclist outside Gulgong last month, appeared in Mudgee Local Court on Wednesday.

Craig Leslie Rayner of Ulan Road, Cooks Gap, was charged with 'Dangerous driving occasioning death - drive manner dangerous - Strictly Indictable' and 'Negligent driving (occasioning death) - first offence'.
The matter was adjourned until Wednesday, November 6, 2019, in order to prepare the brief of evidence, during which time it's also expected that the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) will elect.
No plea was entered.
An appeal against the immediate suspension of Rayner's licence has also been listed for the later date.
He remains on conditional bail, which was granted following the alleged incident that occurred on Saturday, August 17, 2019.
