For most of the match Just Brick It (JBI) were in total control of the outcome, their first quarter blitz of 19 points, including six three point bombs arcing into the bottom of the net.
The defending premiers were on struggle street from the outset, down 9-nil before Ben Edmunds finally notched the first goal for Predators, their offence creaking to eleven points at the break.
Whatever was said in the huddle at the break paid dividends for Predators in the second quarter especially in offence, and they gradually closed the gap, Anthony Hamson the chief architect scoring nine points, Predators trailing 31-32 at half time.
JBI recovered their poise in the third quarter, pushing the Predators surge aside to out score their opponents 11-9, going to the final break leading by three.
Predators drew level early in the final quarter, JBI coming back to take the lead shortly after, the lead then changing hands twice more before it all went off the rails for JBI.
Steve Marshall, the leading scorer for JBI with 20 points, was fouled off on the latter stages of the quarter, followed soon after by Bayley Brown, and with only three players striving to hold out the potent Predators offence, it was inevitable the win was heading the defending premiers way.
There was a brief flurry of points from JBI to get within two of their opposition, but two late goals ensured Predators a grand final spot on Sunday.

Hairy Globetrotters extended their winning streak over Mudgee Pump Company (MPC) winning the B grade final 38-26.
MPC attacked decisively and displayed strong defence in the first quarter to lead 8-4, giving an early indication they could pull off an upset win.
Down nine points at the final break, MPC fought hard to get some rhythm going in offence but their scoring dried up, and while the Globetrotters were down on points in the final quarter, they increased their lead to finish comfortably.
