The school tradition is that graduating students give back to the community. In the past, their single biggest fundraising day - Rainbow Day - is held on the Thursday of the last week of Term 3, which is the final week of school for Year 12 who sit the HSC exams after the break.
However, a reshuffle of the week sees the colourful day moved up. And a major contributor to the day's festivities is the three Donation Stations.
The chosen beneficiary for 2019 is the Cudgegong Rural Fire Service. Their "wish list" includes communications equipment, as well other gear that will help Cudgegong Remote Area Firefighting Team (RAFT) and Aviation Group work and rest comfortably when deployed to aforementioned remote areas.
And the cohort are hoping to cap-off their already successful efforts with a big day on September 24.
