Book Bouncers
Bounce around books and ideas with other readers at Book Bouncers, our monthly book group for young adults. All teens keen to talk books are welcome! Usually held the first Tuesday of the month (unless otherwise advised, e.g. moved due to school holidays) 3.45-4.45pm in the Library Youth Room. Come along to the next group session on 22 October to chat about The Happiness Quest by Richard Yaxley. If you haven't read it don't worry, come along anyway and join in on our next fabulous read.

Hobbies and Crafts Reference Centre
Have you come across the Hobbies and Crafts Reference Centre? This extraordinary database contains full text for nearly 2,000 magazines and books, more than 720 videos, more than 180 hobby profiles (beer and wine making, model railroads), and more than 11,000 recipes. Subjects include arts and crafts, collecting, home/garden, indoor recreation, kids' crafts, model building, needlecrafts and textiles, outdoor recreation, performing arts, science and technology, and scrapbooking. Access via the library website and explore for free using your membership card.
Town Hall Cinema
New release movies screen at the Mudgee Town Hall Cinema on the first weekend of every month. October 4, 5, 6 screenings are Palm Beach, Danger Close: the Battle of Long Tan, and The Lion King. Ticketing information is located on the Town Hall Cinema website and Facebook page. Check in each month for upcoming movies.
