Mudgee miniature railway is having a public night run on Saturday from 4.30pm till 9pm.
The Mudgee Miniature Railway will be holding their 4th annual public night run at the corner of Ulan Road and Buckaroo Road, approx six kms from town.
Normal fares apply and remember that everyone who rides on the trains must wear FULLY ENCLOSED SHOES. See our facebook page for fare details.

Wall of Remembrance Saturday, October 5 at the St John Anglican Church Grounds Mudgee from 9am - 12pm. Come along SHINING PINK for Pink Up Mudgee for Breast Cancer Awareness Month to help raise funds for the McGrath Foundation. Special Guest Appearance by Glenn McGrath and the McGrath Foundation Film Crew from 10am! The Wall of Remembrance will be unveiled from 10am by Honorary Associate Priest. Rev'd Jorie Ryan. The Wall of Remembrance is a place to remember loved ones lost to Breast Cancer. Please feel free to bring flowers or tributes to display on the Wall which will stay there for the month of October.
Paint a CAR PINK for $5 on the day! Limited time only from 10am - 11am. Bring the kids and family and some messy clothes and get creative. Pop Up Pink Bar. In support of Pink Up Mudgee this October, Vinifera will be opening a special Pop Up Pink Bar on the back lawns every Saturday. Pink cocktails, pink platters and pink sweet treats will be on offer as you enjoy live music by local artists. The best part, 20 per cent of all sales will be donated directly to Pink Up Mudgee for the McGrath Foundation.
Pink Racing. Tickets are now on sale for the event of the year - the Mudgee Pink Races which will take place on Saturday, October 5 at the Mudgee Racecourse. Join our special guest Glenn McGrath for a great day of racing, fashion and fun. Thursday, October 10
Join in the free family activities at the tenth annual Rylstone Kandos Family Fun Day.
Hosted by Council and the Rylstone and Kandos Interagency Group, the day is a showcase of local services and community activities.
This year's activities include an Indigenous Smoking Ceremony and Story to Art Workshops, Jumping Castle, Dodge Ball, Magic Stones and Pet Rock Workshops.
All activities on the day are available at no cost and Rotary will be providing a BBQ and drinks for a gold coin donation.
A number of organisations will be attending this year's event including Council's Mobile Library Van, Charles Sturt University and TAFE.

Monday, October 14
(RAMHP) in partnership with Mid-Western Regional Council Library will be delivering two free 'Wellbeing and You' sessions at Mudgee Library on Monday, October 14.
The morning session will run from 10:30am-11:30am and the evening session from 6:30pm-7:30pm. These 1 hour sessions will provide you with: information about and insight into mental health, wellbeing and stress; strategies to find help and take care of yourself; and a new perspective on your own wellbeing and a workbook filled with tricks, tips and goals.

The Gulgong Markets will be held at Coronation Park, Gulgong, Mayne Street on October 26 starting at 8.30am and finishing around 1.30 pm. Come over and check out their wide range of handmade produce like jams, chutneys, sauces and pickles, plants, art and craft and lots more.
