Once again Mudgee's own motocross master Steve Mini is on board, along with Nitro Circus pal Micheal 'Chucky' Norris, for two freestyle motocross shows at 11.30am and 2pm in the main arena.
And 'The Great Eskypade', motorised esky time-trial competition, is back too after debuting in 2017.
Less action-packed but still eye-catching will be Motorfest favourite, the Show 'N' Shine, with owners polishing up their pride-and-joy to compete for the 30-plus trophies on offer for a wide variety of categories (presentation at 3pm).
Some Late Mail Postie Bikes are also set to make an appearance, following an appropriate amount of rest from their epic 2,034km Lue to Mudgee, via Coffs Harbour fundraising journey in October. Their beneficiary - Wings4Kidz who transport rural and regional children with serious and life threatening illnesses to treatment - is only Motorfest's chosen charity in 2019.
Children will be catered for as well with a Billy Cart/ Push Car/Pedal Car display, a jumping castle and face painting. And they'll be stalls, a coffee van, and food from Smokin Bro + Co and a barbecue by the Junior Wombats.
Gates open at 7am, entry is $15 for adults, $5 for children under 16 and free for under four.
Sunday will be a road cruise to the Gulgong Swap Meet, assembling at the Mudgee Showground gate at 8am.
In 2017 the decision to hold the event every second year was hailed a success, attracting a crowd of about 1,500 and also allowing it to alternate with Wings Wheels and Wine - so there's something on each year.
Motorfest is presented by local club the Cudgegong Cruisers Inc, who thank Mid-Western Regional Council, A1 Earthworx Mining and Civil, Mudgee Travel and Cruise, and Pirtek.
