POLICE are calling for information from the public following the theft of sheep from a property in the region.

Police from Wellington are investigating the theft of 32 sheep from a property on Cobbora Road, Comobella.
Officers say the sheep were taken sometime between June 6 and October 17 this year.

"The animals were dorper ewes marked with ear tags numbered NS221998 and L shaped ear marks," officers said in a statement.
Anyone with information in relation to this incident are urged to contact Wellington Police Station on 6840 2099 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
