Western Region Regatta president Jen Consadine says the regatta was a success due to the amount of paddlers, both visiting and local, volunteers, officials, supporting organisations and people behind the scenes who got involved during the event.
"It was a wonderful event and we are pleased with the day of racing and that rain held off until late in the afternoon," Consadine said.
We were thrilled to be able to showcase our beautiful area to visitors and many paddlers who had never travelled to Mudgee before.
