That's what Ulan Village Green site manager Kerry Smith had to say about the opening of their site.
Located a mere three minutes away from the nearest mine, the purpose built accommodation village offers miners, contractors, even passing truck drivers the opportunity for a safer stay - an alternative to a 30 minute drive to Mudgee.
"We're pretty much servicing all of the local mines because they get hundreds of contractors up here to work and they work in long hours so we've provided a home away from home," Smith said.
With the mines, there's those people who want to work 14 hour days but with the wildlife out on the roads and heading back to Mudgee or Gulgong, it's dangerous for them.

"There will always be the ones who want to stay in town but there are lots that find it difficult to find accommodation so we've just made it easy for them.
"We've got a range of rates that are based on the amount of stay required, but they're paying for the convenience.
"At the end of the day, when they work out their costs for fuel, grocery shopping, their gym memberships, it's worth it."
The accommodation was approved 12 years ago and with construction having taken place in May this year, the 52 standards rooms and four deluxe units are now in operation.
"We're taking bookings all the time, we're ready for business, we're here waiting," Smith said.
It's all here, they don't have to go anywhere if they don't want to and it's just safer.
"We've catered for everybody, we welcome all. People can stay for a day or for 12 months, there are no restrictions."
The new site has no shortage of a local touch with employees from the area and the ability for community members to potentially use particular facilities.
"It's really positive that the locals are engaging with this too, we're all local employees," Kerry said.
We're buying from local suppliers too, so it's all about being a part of the community as well.
"We're looking at casual gym memberships who live in town who would like to go but could stop in on their way home."
Smith ensures while the stayers will obviously be away from home, the village will be a community in itself.
"For me, I haven't really traveled much so I know I'm a real homely person so for people like me, we create our own little community," she said.
"The chef's are dying to cook for them."

A petition was circulated earlier this year opposing the mining village and any further development. Speaking with the Mudgee Guardian, Vice-President of the CFMEU Mining and Energy Division, Southwestern District, Craig Carberry - who organised the petition - said of the counted signatures more than 500 people did not support a miners camp in the region.
