Aaron Paul Williams of Black Springs Road, Budgee Budgee, pleaded guilty to the charge 'Drive with middle range Prescribed Concentration of Alcohol' in Mudgee Local Court last Wednesday.
The 46-year-old was stopped for random breath testing on Putta Bucca Road on Saturday, October 19, 2019.
He admitted to drinking two schooners and tested positive to alcohol.
At Mudgee Police Station he recorded a breath analysis of 0.116.
Williams' solicitor, Allan Hogan, told the court that his client admits to drinking "a significant amount", having consumed three 500ml cans of beer at home before going to the laundromat to specifically wash work clothes and then to the pub.
Magistrate David Day said, "so while he was waiting for his clothes to go round and round, he went across to the Paragon and he'd already had three Heinekens, which were European halves".
"He should've thought seriously about going into town to go to the laundromat and should've thought even more seriously about going into the Paragon."
