Robyn Anne Hackney of Cassin Lane, Mudgee, was fined $440 and disqualified for three months to be followed by a 12-month interlock period.
At about 11pm on Sunday, October 6, 2019, returned a positive reading to a random breath test in Douro Street, Mudgee. She was taken to the Police Station where a breath analysis of 0.095 was recorded.
Her solicitor, Richard Wise, told the court that the bourbon his client had been drinking with friends was homemade and difficult to judge what could've been standard drinks.
However, Magistrate David Day noted that this was Hackney's fourth Prescribed Concentration of Alcohol (PCA) offence.
"She comes highly referenced, highly regarded, other than PCA offences she wouldn't be known to the court," he said.
