Following a four-award showing at the 2019 NSW Tourism Awards in Sydney recently, Mudgee travel agency Mudgee Travel & Cruise has been recognised with one of the Australian travel industry's most respected awards.
Among a group of just ten other Australian travel agencies, the Mudgee travel agent was presented with a Bronze Choice Award during a ceremony held this month in Adelaide.
The event was attended by leaders of the Australian travel industry and members of Travellers Choice - describes as 'an exclusive collection' of leading independently-owned travel agencies.

Christian Hunter, Managing Director of Travellers Choice - which was this year named Australia's Best Agency Group at the prestigious National Travel Industry Awards - said Bronze Choice Award winning agencies demonstrated outstanding levels of travel expertise, customer service and business acumen.

Mudgee Travel and Cruise owner Glenn Box said the award was a team effort.

As a Bronze Choice Award winner, Mudgee Travel & Cruise has secured a spot for next year on an eight-day cruise on Majestic Princess, one of the newest ships in the cruise company, Princess Cruises' fleet.
As part of the cruise's route, it will travel from Sydney harbour and along the coast to Melbourne before crossing the Bass Strait to visit explore Port Arthur, Hobart and Great Oyster Bay.
