In the 21st installment of the Central West Interclub Series, dozens of triathletes pushed their boundaries to the limit at Lawson Park on November 17.

With Mudgee hosting the first of five rounds, the Red Devils are currently tied on 30 points with Orange Piranhas.
It was Orange local Rory Thornhill who stormed to victory crossing the line with a time of 00:51:27.
Thornhill took 00:06:50 to complete the first run which was followed by the swim in just over four minutes, while the cycle section took the Orange gun 00:28:07 to complete.
He went on to the second swim and got the job done in 00:04:21 to finish up with a 00:07:57 run.
Fellow Piranha, Tom Tudor came in second (00:51:28) for the men and was followed by Jack Bilton (Orange) who came in third with 00:51:48, and Matt Webster (Mudgee) in fourth (00:54:15).
As for the women, it was a quartet of Orange products who took the first three positions with Jessica Richard in first (01:01:03), Abby Dean in second (01:01:18), Jessie Dean in third (01:02:00) and Kim Dale in fourth (01:02:36).
Mudgee Triathlon Club president Matt Webster was the fastest local male with a time of 00:54:15, who was closely followed by Campbell Wall (00:55:38), Greg Atkinson (00:58:17) and Hamish Jackson (00:58:31).
As for the females, Sian Potter completed the course first in 01:03:17, while Giselle Denley was next for the Devils in (01:05:07), followed by Narelle Quinn (01:08:14), and Tracy Kastelein (01:13:39).
Meanwhile, before the Interclub Series race meet, Mudgee played host to a collection of other races featuring, but not exclusively, for the younger competitors.
In the 'Little Devils Girls' class, it was Sarah Murray who came in first, followed by Pippa George in second, and Daisey Land in third.
Thomas Murray came first for the 'Little Devils Boys' race, followed by Jock Buckley.
Next up was the 'Big Devils Girls' class which was taken out by Ruby George, who was followed by Billie Rohr.
Toby Roberts crossed the line first for the 'Big Devils Boys' ahead of Wes Pirie and Nate Taylor.
Halle Potter took out the 'Super Sprint Female', while Eva Keegan crossed the line second, followed by Amy Penny.
The 'Super Sprint Male' first place went to Justin Penny, followed by Hugo George in second and Bryce Foley in third.
The next Central West Interclub Series round will be held in Bathurst on January 26, followed by Dubbo on February 9.
