"We've got beautiful big windows in the middle of town, I just thought it'd be nice, I know the kids will love seeing their work on display," she said.
Megan's two boys Andy and Archie both go to Mudgee Public School which is where the idea grew from but Megan is encouraging other schools to get involved and get in touch if they'd like to submit their art to be displayed on the main street.
"Every time the show is on, Easter, Australia Day, Anzac Day. All the time they do those things, that'd be great," she said. "I've been thinking about it for ages, there's so many things that kids do that we can showcase. I hope we can do it more often. Other schools, preschools, anyone."
Megan wanted to thank Julie Tito and Mel Shearman from Mudgee Public School for making the idea a reality.
