While the Gayna Williams (Mudgee) product had six starts prior to Tuesday's stint, including his trial run in July 2018, the four-year-old gelding finally got up in the Gooree Stud Maiden Plate (1400 metres) with Mikayla Weir in the saddle.
"My instructions were to let him find the bridle and race where he was comfortable, first time with the blinker on today," Weir said.
He began really well, I elected to bring him right back and we got to the fence and raced really comfortably in a beautiful spot.

"We were on the back of one of the favourites, we got a lovely run through as he rolled and got up the middle, he raced really well."
The final 200 metres was where Weir kicked All Too Difficult ($34) into action, leaving Disco Diva (Gary Portelli) and Amy's Shadow (Brett Thompson) to sort out second and third placings.
"When we were going through the race having such a lovely run I thought he could win it because of how he travelled, I thought he'd have a chance," Weir said.
The Mudgee race meet, which doubled as a fundraiser for local firefighters was initially programmed to appear at Orange, however due to track conditions as a result of the ongoing drought, a transfer was made.
