Firstly, WNSWH is calling for submissions from local aboriginal artists, to feature inside the new building.
'We are looking at trying to feature aboriginal artwork to build a strong cultural connection between the hospital and the Wiradjuri people.' WNSWH said.
Secondly, a photo competition is seeking a Mudgee photo to be enlarged and displayed long term in the main foyer of the hospital along with a $1000 cash prize. 'This is a great opportunity for someone to have their work on display and a $1000 prize is a great incentive.' WNSWH said.

The photo competition closes on Friday, 7 February.
The Mudgee Hospital Redevelopment is on track to be completed this year. Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders toured the site in November last year.
"This is an exciting project for Mudgee and the surrounding region, and over the coming months the scaffolding will start to come down and reveal the exterior of the new hospital," Mr Saunders said.
"Among some of the features of the facility will be an emergency department, a general medical and surgery unit, a peri-operative service, a maternity unit, renal dialysis, oncology, a dental clinic and for the first time, a CT scanner."
