Barry Peterson (39 points) proved the 'testing' material on a rather warm and muggy day when a very good field of 23 veteran golfers took on the challenges of the dry Mudgee course.
Barry showed good consistency for much of his round, but had two slight slip-ups in the middle of each nine holes.
Coming in second was Bob Colley (38) who also played extremely well except for the first hole on each nine. He shook off those disappointments and powered home strongly on the last eight holes of each nine.
Kel Wilton (37 cb) continued his career best form to claim third prize. He, once again, made a series of easy pars before two wipes had him rethinking his strategy.
Then on the back nine, he 'couldn't miss' as he played faultless golf to amass a wonderful one over par.
Taking the final voucher was James Anderson (37 cb) who edged out David Halpin with the same score.
Ball winners were David Halpin, Adam Ferguson, Gavin White, Mike McGarringle, Merrie Llewelyn, Rod Wilson, John Furlong and Keith Baker.
The NTP Second Shot on the 7th hole was John Furlong who chipped to a mere 25cm of the target.
