The highly attended match that sought to breathe some new life into cricket within the Mudgee region drew numbers from all walks of life including two senior ex district players, Kevin Pye and David Lester.
The 40 over per side match saw the local contingent dominate, taking approximately 260 odd while their competition were all out for 180.
"It was enormous, I'm still getting over it," former Windeyer captain, Greg Hundy said.
"It was a really good day. We're all pumped for next year now after taking this year's win."
The annual event was held at Windeyer Sports Ground on January 12.
