The donations raised go on to assist with the operation of the Central Officer in London as well as countless projects in other countries, which range from providing water, sanitation and the teaching of gardening basics, as well as other things.
"Coins for Friendship is the lifeblood of Associated Country Women of the World and United Nations, and advocate for the issues facing rural women worldwide," CWA Mudgee Evening Branch secretary, Barbara Gow said.
"This fund maintains the hub of ACWW's work and allows them to facilitate the network that connects women across the globe."
Donations can be placed in the Coins of Friendship tin in the Mudgee Guardian office.
