Optus has identified two spots in the Mudgee area this morning, January 16, that are currently down, restricting the use of internet, email, voice and text.
The Optus website states, We've identified a fault which means you might experience issues with voice/ and/or data at the moment. Our team are on to it, and aim to fix this as soon as possible. We're sorry for the inconvenience.
An estimated time of restoration is yet to be determined.
Meanwhile, approximately 1865 Essential Energy customers are experiencing shortages across the local area.
Outages have been in place since 8.30am for some, while another shortage came in effect at 9.30am, and the Essential Energy website currently has no indication for when residents should expect power to be restored.
