A WOMAN has been killed following a crash between a 4WD and a small truck near Mudgee.

Just after 6pm on Monday emergency services were called to Guntawang Road, Galambine, north of Mudgee, following reports of a crash.
NSW Ambulance paramedics attended; however, a female passenger in the 4WD died at the scene.
A male driver and a second female passenger were treated and taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The truck driver was uninjured and has been taken to Gulgong Hospital for mandatory testing.
A crime scene has been established and will be forensically examined with the assistance of the Bathurst Crash Investigation Unit.
Guntawand Road was closed between the Castlereagh Highway and Goolma Road immediately following the crash but it has since reopened.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and are appealing for any witnesses or any motorists who were in the area at the time and may have dash cam footage to contact them.
