A woman charged with driving while disqualified, who also tested positive to drugs during a roadside drug test, was convicted in her absence and fined a total of $2,310 when she failed to appear in Mudgee Local Court.

Jasmine Louise Oakenfull of Lang Street, Mudgee, was also disqualified for a further 12 months.
The 33-year-old came to police attention at about 10.35pm on Thursday, September 12, 2019, when they noticed the taillights of her vehicle weren't working and they stopped her for random breath and drug testing in Gladstone Street, Mudgee.
She handed over her licence and a check found that it was cancelled on August 21, and a roadside test was positive to methamphetamine.
Oakenfull was taken to Mudgee Police Station, where a second positive detection was recorded. Laboratory analysis confirmed the presence of methamphetamine and cannabis.
She denied taking the former, but admitted to smoking five cones about two hours prior to being stopped.
In an separate matter, Jayme Lee Denyer of Denison Street, was also convicted in her absence when she failed to appear in Mudgee Local Court, and fined $220 for the charge 'Possess prohibited drug'.
At about 9.50am on Thursday, December 19, 2019, she was stopped by officers and told that she would be searched. In the police facts submitted to the court, it was noted that this was due to her history and her known associates.
The 26-year-old complied and handed over her handbag, which contained a resealable bag of white grains.
She admitted that it was MDMA (3,4-Methylenedioxymethamphetamine) and that it belonged to her. The package weighed 0.3g.
