Quickly doesn't quite do the Bluebaggers' bowling effort justice, dismissing the Mudgee-based side for just 123 in less than 24 overs as spin twins Mitch Black and George Cumming took eight wickets between them.

Black took 5-51 from his 10 overs while Cumming, fresh off a six-wicket haul in the Bathurst Orange Inter District Cricket competition the day before, took 3-41 from nine.

Black had the dream start with new ball in hand, with the left-armer taking three wickets in very quick succession to leave the side 3-1 chasing Orange's 9-269.

Black took the first four wickets before Cumming dismissed Gaurav Sharma (38) after he and Will Lindsay (48) had put together a 66-run stand to rebuild the Midwest innings.

Cumming dismissed both Sharma and Lindsay before his brother Angus castled Brian O'Reilly for 14, who was the third and final batter to reach double figures for the visitors on Sunday.

Angus took the final two wickets in just 11 deliveries to finish with 2-14.

The bowling effort backed up a solid effort with the bat for the Bluebaggers, with Matt Corben and Bailey Ferguson putting together a 106-run partnership.

The Cavaliers teammates, who hit 63 and 60 respectively - with Ferguson's coming off just 51 deliveries, including nine fours and two sixes - although both were dismissed with the score on 166.

Angus Cumming (32) and Black (25 not out) ensured the tail wagged to finish with 269 from the side's full allotment of 50 overs.

Damian Doherty snared three wickets for Midwest while Andus Honeysett and Gary Reid took two apiece.
