The team 'FN Mudgee Chafing the Dream', has 13 members for the agency's first Relay since 2016.
"We had a great time the last time we did it , it's a really good event and everyone's pretty keen get out there and Relay," Mandy Blackman, the team captain, said.
"And all of the team are now getting sponsors to support them for their laps as well."
Their comeback also marks the return of the mysterious red "Running Man" - the embodiment of the First National's mascot, usually seen in their open home flyers - who made his debut in 2016.
The character is set to be rebooted as team member Col McDonell - who laid down the pre-Relay challenge of hitting four figures in the fundraising, in order for him to don the red morph suit.
And between a sausage sizzle and their Valentines Day bake sale last Friday, the team have held up their end of the deal.
"Col said that he'd wear the red "Running Man" suit if we raised $1,000 - which is what we should reach after this bake sale," Mandy said on the day.

The 2020 Mudgee and District Relay For Life is on the weekend of April 4-5 at Victoria Park and will also be the first 25-hour relay in the state - due to daylight savings ending that evening and the clocks turning back an hour.
Funds raised are invested into Cancer Council's research, as well as support programs for local people affected by cancer such as Transport to Treatment.
- Registration for the event and more information can be found at cancercouncil.org.au/mudgeerelay and stay up to date on the latest goings-on at the Mudgee Relay Facebook page.
