On Monday, March 16, Netball NSW declared their position regarding COVID-19, suggesting all netball competitions statewide be suspended until May 2, 2020.
Taking on the advice, MDNA follows in the organisation's footsteps.
"MDNA is continuing to monitor the evolving and changing situation, taking advice and recommendations from Netball NSW. Our president is corresponding with Netball NSW to keep MDNA well informed and updated throughout the coming weeks," MDNA publicity officer, Amee Burnicle-Tavita said.
"This may be disappointing to members of our association, however we appreciate the support, patience and understanding shown already by the community and MDNA's main priority is the health and well being of our community."
A review of the situation will be held on April 15 by Netball NSW unless required at a sooner date to consider new information.
