Horses from trainers of the likes of Mack Griffith, Mark Milton, David J Smith, Brett Thompson, Derek Piper and Greg Hook will all be running in a variety of races throughout the day.
While there are no local acceptances in the Gooree Park Pastoral Wagyu Class 2 Handicap, the 2020 Gooree Cup (1400 metres) and Tik Tik Memorial Class 3 Handicap (1100 metres) are the most heavily contested among local competitors.
Gulgong's Brett Thompson has Kookabaa and Northern Lights in race four who have both drawn wide, while Rylstone's Greg Hook has Blue Collar Boy running from barrier five with Adrian Layt in the saddle.
As for the Gooree Cup, it's Thompson again with Attalea to be jockeyed by Ronald Simpson, while Lifetime Quest from Mack Griffith will make an appearance from barrier 14 and Distinctive Look from David J Smith will run from barrier five.
Race three the Oriental Hotel F&M Maiden Handicap (1200 metres) will witness Tenango from Derek Piper start from barrier six to be contended by Missile Rain from Thompson.
Harley Fat Boy from Mark Milton's stables will run next to The Poet from Smith in the Lawson Park Hotel CG&E Maiden Handicap (1200 metres), while Smith's The Scotsman is to be the only local in race 6, much like Will To Excel from Griffith in race one.
The 2020 Gooree Cup race meet will be held on May 23 at the Mudgee Racecourse with the first race to jump at 12:19pm.
No public will be permitted due to coronavirus restrictions.
