The relocation of the group occurred some weeks ago to Spicers Creek where they will now be situated on 'Glen Oak'.
With a vision in mind, the new location is thought to bring a raft of new opportunities for not only the club, but jumpers across the Central West.
"The new location will see the club spread out over a couple of hundred acres. It will provide undulating terrain, soft jumping ground and lots of room to gallop which is extremely important for schooling horses for cross country competitions," Cudgegong Jump Club president, Carlene Barton said.
"The vision is to set up an accredited cross country course to run events, clinics, hunter trials and course hire. Access to a well designed cross country course for training anywhere in NSW is at a premium.
"Just this week saw accredited course designer Sandy Lucas from Sydney spend a few days with myself designing a course.
"Given the expense to upkeep, the strict insurance and accreditation for coaches to coach on cross country courses has seen many courses close in the past 10 years.
We hope to provide a facility for the regional areas such as Mudgee, Dubbo, Bathurst, Orange and in between, and also hold competitions and clinics for all NSW riders.

'Many hands make light work' and the jump club is no different with a continuous call out for more members in place to have the ability to host more events.
"We are currently only a small club with a handful of members and hope to branch into a much larger club now we have room to grow and provide a top class facility," she said.
"We are definitely looking for new members to help with our revamped club. Of course many hands make light work and previously with such a skeleton committee it has been difficult to run events.
"If we could gain more members then we hope to be able to put on more competitions and events. Our membership link is on the 'Cudgegong Jump Club' Facebook page.
"Overall we hope to provide a safe, suitable and challenging facility."
In order for the move to be successful and timely, the club had a helping hand from some local businesses that made it all possible.
"We would like to thank those businesses that helped us with the large move, Dan Baggett Constructions, Straight up Cranes, Max Walker Earthmoving, Mudgee Tyre Power, Ross Granata Motors, Ken Ross Truck Repairs. Without their generosity this would not have been possible," Carlene said.
The club hopes to be up and running within the next six weeks.
