A Coffs Harbour man charged with drink driving in Mudgee during a failed early-hours takeaway run, was reprimanded in local court for having a history of the offence.

Dylan Bush of Park Beach Road, Coffs Harbour, was fined $1,000 and disqualified for one month followed by a 12-month interlock period.
At about 1.30am on Sunday, May 24, 2020, police were conducting high visibility patrols of Mudgee, when they stopped his vehicle on the Sydney Road. They noted the smell of alcohol.
The 26-year-old told officers that he'd attempted to buy food at McDonald's and then the Busy Bee, but both were closed.
A roadside test was positive for alcohol and he was taken to Mudgee Police Station, where a breath analysis of 0.066 was recorded.
He was charged with 'Drive with low range Prescribed Concentration of Alcohol', which was listed as a second/subsequent offence for the last five years.

Bush was sentenced for a prior low range matter in Coffs Harbour in June last year.
In Mudgee Local Court on Wednesday, June 17, 2020, Magistrate Alexander Mijovich asked the defendant, "tell me, what don't you understand about drink driving?"
Bush answered, "I understand that I did the wrong thing", to which his honour replied "three times".
"If you had've been in the mid range, I would be getting a Sentencing Assessment Report to see if there's an alternative to jail," he continued.
"Another schooner and it'd be a different story, you'd sitting in that box behind you [pointing to the dock]."
Later that day, a 56-year-old man with a history of drink driving matters, was sentenced to three months imprisonment for a high range offence.
