A six-year-old has been taken to hospital following a crash east of Dubbo on Friday evening.

A man, the driver of a Toyota Landcruiser, was also taken to Dubbo Hospital in a critical condition.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Ballimore Road and the Golden Highway at Ballimore, just before 6.15pm on Friday, after reports a truck and a Toyota Landcrusier had collided, police said in a statement.
Police said the six-year-old passenger of the Landcrusier was trapped in the vehicle for a short time, before being released and taken to hospital.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to meet paramedics at Dubbo Hospital at around 6.30pm.
The Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team assisted to further stabilise the six-year-old, before transporting them to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition for further treatment.
The truck driver was uninjured and was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
Officers from Orana Mid-Western Police District attended and established a crime scene.
Investigations into the cause of the crash are continuing.
The Golden Highway was closed for a number of hours on Friday evening, but had reopened on Saturday morning.
