Member for the Dubbo electorate, Dugald Saunders, visited the school recently, where he inspected the works and also welcomed John Carters to the role of principal. And said the complete upgrading of the infants toilet block makes a noticeable change to the school, and was one of his election commitments.
"In February 2019 I stood at Mudgee Public School alongside the Deputy Premier and committed to providing $100,000 to upgrade the toilet facilities. The NSW Government is working hard right across the state to improve the infrastructure at our local schools, with funding for significant upgrades to outdoor learning spaces, student and staff facilities, and improvements to accessibility and infrastructure."
Education Minister Sarah Mitchell said the Government is strengthening the education system by investing in the maintenance and infrastructure needs. "These improvements demonstrate a long-term commitment to taking care of existing schools and providing students and teachers with the very best educational facilities," she said.
