Council is partnering with 20 of its 2019 Flavours stallholders to provide customers with a souvenir glass along with purchases.
Council is hoping to encourage shopping and supporting local businesses, Council is providing 2020 Flavours of Mudgee souvenir glasses to its stallholders to use in a Spend and Sip promotion for the month of September.
"It was extremely disappointing to cancel Flavours of Mudgee 2020 but the event was logistically just not possible with current health orders and we had to consider the risk to our community," Council's General Manager, Brad Cam said.
"Planning for Flavours of Mudgee begins one year out and as a result we have produced the 2020 Flavours glasses and would like to distribute these to the community to encourage shopping with local businesses.
"Council has provided eligible stallholders with free glasses to incorporate into promotional activities for the month of September.
"So whilst, you won't be able to enjoy Flavours of Mudgee this year, you can still enjoy Mudgee's award winning food and wine and take home a souvenir glass."
