While it is not a strong competition, the players are keen and enthusiastic, and there is no doubt that it will be very competitive at play off time.
All teams have a number of juniors in their line ups, so this should establish the competition for the coming seasons.
Roadrunners currently lead the competition, following a win last week over nearest rivals Edmunds Interiors 31-13.
They have been close tussles in the previous two matches, the first a victory to Roadrunners 26-15, Edmunds sneaking home in the second encounter 26-25.
With only four players, Edmunds were always going to struggle against a full strength Roadrunners, who led 15-9 at half time and then outscoring their opponents 16-4 in the second half.
Triceratops picked up their second win of the competition so far, with a win over the under strength MHS 36-20.
MHS led 11-10 at half time, but from then on, could not restrict the triceratops shooters who added 26 points the MHS 14 in the second half to dominate the final two periods.
Roadrunners lead the competition table in 25 points, Edmunds Interiors 22, Triceratops 13, MHS 10.
