Just shy of one month from her previous impressive stint at Rosehill in September, Amy's Shadow has done it again, taking the winning run in the Randwick Tab Highway Class 3 Handicap (1600 metres) on Saturday.

Despite drawing wide, jockey Jason Collett guided the Thompson Racing-trained four-year-old to yet another dominant quest.
"We've always thought she would get better with the further distance she had, it proved to be right," Brett Thompson said.
"She was spot on when we took her down there, Jason Collett rode her a treat. She drew the outside barrier but he just dropped her back and let her relax in behind, she was back last at one stage.
"He said she breathed beautifully through the running, she raced really genuine this time. She has been a bit inconsistent with her runs where she drops the bridle and relaxes too much but she relaxed beautifully on the bridle this time.
"He [Collett] started to make his run at about 650 up along the fence and then he had to be patient to wait for a couple of horses to move off the fence coming around the corner, and he said she's a very smart filly, she just did it too easy."
Too easy? Perhaps, with Thompson reporting that Amy's Shadow hardly looked tired after her run and could easily step it up to a 2000 metre stint.
"She got there a lot quicker than Jason thought she was going to, she had them covered at the 200," Thompson said.
"It was a strong race but she just did it too easy, I said she could have run a 2000.
"We're over the moon with her, not too many horses could win two highways in a row."
While not a concrete plan, Thompson looks to put Amy's Shadow up for the Coonabarabran Cup in two weeks time, and again a fortnight later back at Rosehill for the Country Classic - both 2000 metre long runs.
"You never know, but I wouldn't go unless I thought she would be right," Brett said.
"I think she would be very competitive in the Coonabarabran Cup, it's a big jump because she's only a class four but I think it would suit her."
