Since game one, the under 14s Midwest Brumbies have continued to prove their worth and in doing so, have booked an appearance in this year's Western Women's Rugby League semi-finals.
This Saturday hosting one of two semi-final rounds, and although their three other counterparts didn't make the final rounds, the under 14s are heading in against the Wiradjuri Goannas looking to be favourites.
In last week's round, the young outfit devastated the Cougars, claiming a 34-0 victory, and in round four, also pulled one over the Panorama Platypi with an 8-0 scoreboard.
There hasn't been a single game where the girls haven't improved, according to under 14s Midwest Brumbies coach Jett Bodiam, who added his side have the skills and ability to get the job done.
"There's no better feeling then being coach of this team and watching them constantly improve," he said.
I think they have got the talent for a good team and work together alongside me and they put all their heart into every game.
- Midwest Brumbies under 14s coach, Jett Bodiam
When the Brumbies met the Goannas in round two, the local squad claimed a 10-4 win, and Bodiam is confident they can once again come out on top.
"I expect Dubbo to come out strong in the first half, we are the top team so far this year so we are the ones to beat.
"If our girls keep throwing the ball around working both sides of the field I can see a very positive outcome. If we show up to play, no doubt we can keep progressing through finals."
The Midwest Brumbies will face the Wiradjuri Goannas at Jubilee Oval on Saturday, November 14 at 11.20am.
The second round of semi-finals will be played at Apex Oval, Dubbo on Sunday, November 15.
