It was the final overnight stop of the inaugural, five-day Golden West Rail Tour, run by Vintage Rail Journeys.
The trip also travelled through the Hunter Valley, Werris Creek, Orange, Bathurst, the Blue Mountains, and Sydney. With the aim to include rail lines normally closed to the public.
